Hatake Kakashi [Imagination series] Review - カカシ 口寄せの術

Here we go again.. like I promised, we'll review another Hatake Kakashi figure.

This is trading figure from Bandai, coming in blind box, part of Imagination series. The rest of this series collection are as follow:

Let's check the package

Fresh from the box.. I got this on MIP (Mint in Plastic) condition.

Mold separately into some part, we need to assembly them for a moment, but no glue is neccesary.

without Kakashi
They are come along with plugs and holes to snap together and lock the composition.

And here they are..

This figure stand app. 2.75inch (7cm). With this size, the sculpt are amazingly detail. Look at the weapon purse and tools bag, it sculpted accurately.

But not for the paints, it lacks pretty much on some spot, and they happen only on back side, the front side is okay. He missed some red emblems on both upper arms and some button vest on his back

But overall I love this piece, Kakashi looks cool on his expression and pose, also the proportion is so right. Inspite of the lack of paints on some point, the tone color is so much worth.

Yes, for you who wonder, this diorama figure is take theme and title on Kakashi Kuchiyose no Jutsu (カカシ 口寄せの術, Kakashi Summoning Technique). And as you knew, Kakashi contract animal is dog, or called Ninken (忍犬,  means Ninja Hounds / Ninja Dogs).

And here are the 7 Ninken, wait.. only seven, but why, is it supposed to be 8? We'll discuss that later. So here they are..

Pakkun (パックン)
Bull (ブル, Buru)
Shiba (シバ)
Bisuke (ビスケ)
Akino (アキノ)
Ūhei (ウーヘイ)
Guruko (グルコ)
Yes, as you notice, we missed Urushi here. I have to admit I haven't finished reading Naruto manga yet, so I dont't know why, maybe there's connection with this loss. But perhaps you could explain that, let me know by the comment.

Forget that, and let's look at the Ninken back, yes, the detail is there.. there are face-shaped design on their backs called Henohenomoheji (へのへのもへじ) — which is the sound made when all the characters in the face are put together. Appropriately enough, children use this design as the face for their scarecrows, which is "kakashi" in Japanese. (source: http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Ninken)

And for you who noticed it.. Yes, that's right as you guessed, this figure has semi translucent material, and as always, this is an interesting stuff for me.

I've played with the feature and here they go..

And finally my point:
Sculpt: 9/10 (Kakashi looks cool here)
Paint: 8/10 (should be 7 saved by the tone)
Gimmick: 9/10 (many great detail, ninken, semi-translucent stuff)

So that's all for this review. Maybe I'll write another one when I get some Kakashi stuff.

So, until next time..
